Pure.Sink Comfort Stainless Steel Sink 55x40cm PVD 10mm Radius Under-Counter, Over-Counter, and Flush-Mount PCM5540-61 Gun Metal

Give your kitchen a modern and luxurious look with the Pure.Sink Comfort stainless steel sink, 55 x 40 cm, in the color “ Gun Metal ” PVD. This spacious rectangular kitchen sink combines an elegant dark gray metallic finish with high-quality materials and practical ease of use. Thanks to its generous sink space, sleek flat bottom, and subtly rounded inner corners, this sink makes a stylish addition to modern, industrial, and timeless kitchens.

The sink is crafted from high-quality 18/10 stainless steel and features a durable Gun Metal PVD coating. The precision-welded construction, 10 mm inner radius, and 1 mm flat rim ensure a high-quality, refined finish. Additionally, the sink is suitable for undermount, top-mount, and flush-mount installation, giving you maximum flexibility during installation.

Spacious sink with interior dimensions of 55 x 40 cm

With generous interior dimensions of 550 x 400 mm, the Pure.Sink Comfort offers plenty of space for daily kitchen tasks. The wide rectangular shape makes it easier to wash large pots, baking sheets, oven dishes, and other bulky kitchenware.

The sink has total exterior dimensions of 590 x 440 mm and a depth of 178 mm. As a result, this Gun Metal stainless steel sink combines a comfortable washing capacity with a sleek and efficient design.

The 10 mm inner radius creates a modern look with subtly rounded corners. This makes it easier to remove dirt and food scraps than with fully square inner corners. The flat bottom provides a practical washing area and contributes to the minimalist design.

Thanks to its generous dimensions, this sink is particularly well-suited for families, cooking enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to combine extra washing space with a modern and exclusive look.

Suitable for undermount, top-mount, and flush-mount installation

The Pure.Sink Comfort Gun Metal PVD sink (55 x 40 cm ) is designed for three different installation options. This allows the sink to be integrated into a variety of kitchen designs and compatible countertops.

• Flush-mount: The sink is installed flush with the countertop for a sleek and virtually seamless look. The 1-mm flat rim is particularly well-suited for this.
• Under-mount: The sink is mounted beneath the countertop, allowing the countertop to flow smoothly and making it easy to keep clean.
• Top-mount: The sink is installed from above into the countertop, with the rim resting on the countertop.

These versatile installation options make the sink suitable for both new kitchens and renovation projects. Always check in advance whether the chosen countertop is suitable for the desired installation method and whether there is sufficient space available for the sink and drain connection.

Luxurious “ Gun Metal ” PVD finish and high-quality 18/10 stainless steel

The unique “Gun Metal ” PVD finish gives this sink an exclusive and contemporary look. The dark gray metallic color offers a stylish alternative to traditional stainless steel and pairs perfectly with black, gray, wood, and natural stone countertops.

The sink is crafted from high-quality 18/10 stainless steel. The “ Gun Metal ” color is applied using PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) technology, which applies a thin, wear-resistant coating to the stainless steel. This high-quality surface treatment ensures a durable and decorative finish suitable for daily use.

The precision-welded construction ensures a high-quality finish and clean lines. The combination of strong stainless steel, a flat bottom, and subtly rounded inner corners makes this sink hygienic, practical, and easy to maintain.

Pair this sink with a matching kitchen faucet in “ Gun Metal ” PVD for a harmonious and modern look. The dark gray metallic color also adds a stylish accent when paired with black kitchen accessories and natural materials.

Practical design with a 10 mm inner radius

The inner corners, with a 10 mm radius, are a key feature of the Pure.Sink Comfort design. These subtly rounded corners combine the sleek look of a modern rectangular sink with the ease of cleaning that rounded inner corners provide.

Thanks to this design, dirt and food scraps can be easily removed. The flat bottom also provides a practical surface for washing dishes, glasses, and cookware.

The integrated drain with matching Gun Metal basket strainer adds to the ease of use and provides a neat finish that matches the sink’s color.

Hygienic and easy to maintain

The Pure.Sink Comfort sink is designed with hygiene and everyday ease of use in mind. Thanks to its smooth surface and slightly rounded inner corners, dirt, water residue, and food scraps can be easily removed.

The Gun Metal basket strainer helps catch larger food scraps before they enter the drain. The included Easyclean overflow contributes to ease of use and helps prevent water from flowing over the edge of the sink when the drain is closed.

To maintain the Gun Metal PVD finish, we recommend cleaning the sink regularly with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid harsh cleaning agents, scouring pads, and abrasive cleaning products. Dry the sink after use to minimize water spots and limescale buildup as much as possible.

PVD stands for Physical Vapour Deposition and this results in a coating that is much stronger than galvanised chrome, for example, and yet shines just as beautifully. Another not insignificant advantage of PVD coatings is that they are relatively environmentally friendly. To apply the coating, a liquid metal is vaporised in a vacuum environment. This means that the process requires less high temperatures. The vaporised metal is then applied to the product in one or more layers. These layers are wafer-thin so that the design of the product is not affected by the top layer.

PVD coatings are not only applied to taps, but to all kinds of metal objects that are used intensively and still require a beautiful colour. Think, for example, of cutlery, door fittings and even watches.

Advantages of PVD:

• solid coating;
• resistant to most cleaning agents;
• does not oxidise;
• shiny, wafer-thin top layer;
• scratch-resistant;
• environmentally friendly.

Disadvantages of PVD:

• it is a bit more expensive;
• the colour options are (for the time being) somewhat more limited.
